Prototype upload

This is my first playable prototype for 15 Penn Island, an idea I've had for a game for several years now. I slowly started putting all this together in my head, with the idea of an absurdly ridiculous game full of weird characters and a burned-out protagonist trying to make sense of it all. This is loosely inspired by my life experiences and how I see the world, plus I drew inspiration from such games as South Park (Stick of Truth and Fractured but Whole), the Cyanide and Happiness Adventure Game, as well as the GTA series. While the gameplay itself is much different, the craziness in these other games fueled the idea for creating another weird world from another perspective.

My vision for this game is a bit ambitious, as I'm a one-man dev with a budget of $0 so far. Despite that, if Im able to create the world I envision, it could be very relatable in a very ridiculous. Even if you don't relate to the experience, I hope that you at least find it entertaining. Since this is a very early prototype, I will be occasionally posting updates with newer versions as I introduce more features and fine tune the mechanics.
